That tradition started many years ago, that time when we first asked our moms to buy a Kinder surprise. I want to talk about overconsumption, marketing and dopaminomics, but not as a some global, eternal ideas, but as a close and very private story of each and every person.
I don’t want to put a guilt on the big companies, government, system whatsoever – this convenient game of putting blame on someone else was successfully played by everyone for many years. Instead i want to talk about responsibility for your own decisions.
I want to show on specific examples that the problem is very individual.
I want reconsider the topic through personal intimate childhood experiences, through nostalgia that old recognizable ads will cause. Draw very understandable parallels between your once bought candy and the environmental situation now, between you and the rubbish dump.

When I was 4, we with my family often used to go to the sea, where my grandmother was all the time looking for a new beautiful small sea stones for her own home collection. When i was 7 my grandmother died, and when I became older, I started to collect pieces of glass, hewn by the sea. Recently I went to the sea again, and came to the conclusion, that now the most convenient is to collect garbage.
Of course, just as any other person, before I used to amuse myself with picking someone else`s garbage on the beach, and then bringing it into the trash cans. Sort of inner moral «greenwashing» – you feel like you do something important. But this time, collecting old garbage seemed to me a more aesthetic way to spend time. The garbage is beautiful, its all so very plastic, all so very polluting, with character, with its story, AND always with its owner, who once threw it away.
So, i started to create my own collection of the garbage. All plastic staff i found on the beach and consider cool enough to adorn my collection of trash.
Attention! I do understand that all the garbage in my new collection has its legal owners. Those people, that once bought this “kinder surprise”, this “plastic deodorant”, and this “crème “бархатные ручки”. I am not a thief, I don`t infringe on someone`s private property, thus, as soon as the owners of the garbage, which I have found in the sea, appear – I will surely return it to them. Dear owners, WE are looking for you, you always welcome to come and take your trash back.
