There was the Sea | art project

The project researches and reconsiders the topic of overconsumption, extracts it from the global narrative, and states it instead as a very private story of each and every person. Talking to the viewer as the legal owner of the garbage, the artist reconnects the viewer with their individual intimate memories and their own garbage, as artefacts of it.
Avoiding playing with feeling of guilt, artist, instead, refers to childhood nostalgia in order to lead the viewer to relate to that kinder-surprise with yellow plastic box inside, that was bought 20 years ago, and then traveled through time and space to nowadays sea bank.
When I was 4, we often used to go to the sea, where my grandmother used to pick nice little stones for her collection. When i was 7, my grandmother died, and I started collecting pieces of glass from, hewn by the sea. Recently I came to the conclusion, that now the most convenient is to collect garbage.
Attention! I do understand that all these garbage in my collection has its legal owners. Those people, that once bought this kinder surprise, I will gladly return return these pieces from my collection to its legal owners, once they appear.
