After Belonging | performance, video and photographic series

Perhaps humanity is slowly separating from the natural world that raised it.

A solitary figure in a translucent plastic coat moves slowly through a forest. The body appears almost like a signal of another species — a bright marker moving through a landscape it still remembers belonging to, yet already feels out of place.

The forest begins to feel less like a habitat and more like a memory — a strange sense of déjà vu, as if returning to a place once known instinctively but now encountered with distance.

The work observes a subtle transformation: the moment when the human body begins to appear as an anomaly within natural ecosystems. Plastic functions as a second skin, suggesting the emergence of a hybrid being — part biological, part artificial.

As human perception increasingly translates physical territory into data, the landscape itself becomes something to be mapped, tracked and measured. Within this shifting perception, the figure appears as a moving marker inside an environment it once simply inhabited.

Through a slow and meditative movement across the forest, the performance stages a quiet moment of transition — a fragile encounter between an organic world and a body that is gradually growing away from it.
