There are several photos. Famous photos. «Napalm in Vietnam», «Normandy landings», «Raising the Flag on Iwo Jima» or «Raising the Flag over the Reichstag». The photos that sacralise the war as metasense. 

Traditional national ornaments in collage technique refer to military heraldic, raising the question of relativity of historical truth. The project researches the versatility of truth/lies, history itself, especially when it comes to war mythology, and other social myths.

The research for this project started in 2020 in «the end of wars» discourse. The idea of war is an atavism, a rudimental social language that stayed in past, since the 21-st century, humanity had developed enough to forget this human practice. This project planned to be a «farewell to the war». 

That’s what I thought.
